TactoLogic Ltd. is the very first manufacturer of three-axial tactile-sensor arrays worldwide. Our devices can be used for robotic, virtual reality, medical, industrial, and scientific purposes for a wide range of applications.

Compared to other pressure-mapping systems, our devices measure not only one, but all three components of the contact force profile over the sensor array, with up to 64 sensor elements.

By measuring both normal and shear-force profiles we obtain an extended, multi-channel tactile image of objects and textures, and push the limits of artificial dexterous manipulation beyond slip prevention, friction estimation or 3D-texture.

TactoLogic currently manufactures the following three-axial tactile sensor arrays:

• TactoPoint 1x1 - the smallest, single-element 3D force sensor
• TactoFlex 2x2 - a small three-axial device for finger-mounted applications
• TactoPad 2x2 - a general purpose, small three-axial array

All devices come with VectoForce Unit v1.2, the read-out circuitry, and TactoSoft, a professional data acquisition and analysis software, constructed especially for the purpose of three-axial tactile data handling.
